I’ve always loved wearing hats. From snapbacks to fedoras, beanies to fitted caps, you name it. Looking through old images of me as young as 9 to now, the statement piece of my outfits would always be my hat. The way I wore it, the style and patterns on it expressed how I felt at that point in time. I was proud of it; it was the billboard letting everyone around me know just how I felt.

While I loved sports caps with team logos, they just weren’t cutting it anymore. I wanted something more! A stylish classic that could be worn anywhere and still compliment my everyday wardrobe. Be it at the beach, in the office or at home but it didn’t exist…so I decided to create it.

With no background in fashion or starting a business, I took to the internet to learn everything I could (and still learning). 18 months of intense learning, planning, design and development later, no9ine’s first collection was born.

Every hat is a medium for expression. It tells a story about its wearer at that point in time. Conveying their interests, passions and personal sense of style.
